Ohisashiburi!! It has been a long time since I blogged here.
Well.. at the very least i'm quite well :)
Not that hectic, i'm so done with all my papers for this term.
Finally. Done will all 8 papers, 1 midterm conceptual paper and 1 final paper.
whooosh. just for one subject. i'm glad i just took up one subject.

I'm glad to say, no more pending for work.
I'm sad to say no work :p
hahahaha
but I'm hoping to work VERY soon :)
because i really need the money to buy stuffs :)

On to my Wednesday topic,
technically it's still Wednesday for me... even if it is already 2:44am thursday morning.
I was going to blog a little bit earlier, only it took me sooo long to make that Nao icon.
But it was WORTH it...
The same way it was worth buying that expensive Uruha Special Arena Magazine

As I was trying to arrange my files, buring files on to dvd, as I was checking one of the dvds i just recently burned, one had the Wednesday NHK show subbed by livejournal community alice_no6. So I decided to watch the entire show...
then when i was listening to the first song Crossgame, I became nostalgic, this WAS the SHOW that got me into Alice Nine, that wink of Hiroto...

Ahh.. wednesdays reminds of me Alice Nine... THEN! it's wendesday... checked the time.. it's also around the same time as I was watching weeks ago... specifically Jan. 21 :)
Now, almost 4 months later, I really really like NAO,

I can't believe I'm into the Gazette(I blame HeyHeyHey for making fun of them, and I enjoyed watching it, I thoguht Uruha and Kai were cute, plus I thought Reita looked cool, i got to listen to cassis and liked that song, sad that aby had the LE cd to Cassis and sold it someone else),

i read the book all over again. since dec 30, 2008 till late jan1, 2009. :)
what can i say!? i really love this book :) and i'm really glad to get another copy of it :)
great development in characters. i like the characters sabriel and touchstone. i would like to know more about mogget hehe :) i think it would be cool if this were made into a movie... but somehow... it would be a little scary specially when sabriel or an abhorsen deals with the dead.
all in all, i still do love this book and would like to read it all over again hehe.


i wished that there would be more mention of touchstone and sabriel in book 2: Lirael
but since i just i opened the plastic to this copy of mine, and tried to take a peek.
looks like Lirael would be a new heroine...
and it's set years later after Kerigor was sealed?.
hmm it would be really nice to know more about mogget! hehe
what he or it really is... besides a free magic creature... developed by the wallmakers?
by looks like the book 2 would be more about the clayr... who ever they are.

just finished reading LIRAEL... started a couple of days ago...
well it's a cliff hanger... can't wait to get my hands on the third book Abhorsen
my thoughts???.... hmmmmm...
i still liked SABRIEL the best.
but let's see what happens on the the third book...
what happens to Lirael, or Nick or Sam...
hoping more from Sam :)

do i read this now?

or do i get into harry portter? i havn't finished readinig that series...
i havn't read book6 and book7 yet. but before that i would like to somehow read book 1-5 all over again. considering my very busy schedule it would seem impossible, beisdes i have lots of books lined up. like the books after eragon, and the dark is rising series... uwahhh...
maybe i should just start with book 5 of harry potter...
but it would be nice to read book 2 all over again :) love that book! :) but it's too long and time consuming to read it all.. ahh the dilemma!


anyway enough of book delimmas...
i'm partly glad that this is a shallow enough kind of dilemma.
another one is that i am hungry.
will be checking out some left over new year celebration food later :)

and now on to really organizing..
after raving about sabriel book...
well organizing my thoughts really..

there are things i have to do and need to do... considering it's the new year...there are things that i really have to finish to do... here i am back with my lists

1. i'm presently watching spider-man3 on hbo, which made me realize i never got to watch movies from april to nov of last year. damn did i miss a lot of good movies like batman, narnia, speed racer etc. and watching it on dvd is NOT good enough. so this year i am looking forward to watching movies! regarless of how busy i am! i'm glad i was able to watch twilight in the movies... that was nice :)
2. ofcourse, like i did mention earlier, definitely read books, well the finish reading the
      harry potter book series 
      abhorsen trilogy
      the dark is rising series
      eragon books...
 and i want to read more... like the
      the golden compass
      inkspell?
      the book theif....
  these books i still don't have :(

3.  JPOP!!! hehe, i've been spending too much on JPOP ... like magazines.. the thing is that i really like magazines. and i thought Formula 1 mags were expensive! ..uwahh :( but i need to lessen my expenses.
at least melai gave me this complete october issues :)

like i said... not totally stop.. but lessen. maybe budget my money this time.
4.  ugh. i need to finish my work load!
5.  after i finish that, my reward would be watching countdown 2008-2009!! i just finished downloading it. jan2 2:19am, also watch the shonen club christmas special... i still havn't watched that... and other videos i've downloaded
6.  fix my room, and my closset... everything is a mess it's really messy...

7.  i'm running out of hard drive space, so i really really need to orgainize and save my Jpop downloads! - this is really taking a huge amount of space on my hard drive!!! speaking of which.. since i can really download.. there's no point in buying magazines right? ...awww but i really like reading magazines! hehe...
8.  budget my money. meaning that i shouldn't buy unnecessary things.
    i will limit my selft to buying magazines with covers i like. hehe. and only i have enough money for it.
    i will buy a book, only when i have finished reading the books that are waiting to be read! and there's a lot of books waiting!!!
    i won't go around buying expensive foods! or eating a expensive restaurants... but it's food. darn!
    definitely save money :)
9.  school. need to study, read my notes and search for a good thesis topic.
10.  japanese - fukushu! review review review! i need to memorize my kanjis! 難しいでも漢字が好き。 which reminds me i need to get my book from aby... i should remind her... hehe.
11. music, ahhh. i miss playing...
12.  i need to lose weight! seriously. no diet, exercise maybe. i love food too much. not go to the gym but start on a new martial art. boxing is really inviting just because of uepi :) hehehehe :) something in common with uepi .. wow :)
13. i finished watching proposal daisakusen a few days ago.. that was really something... i really did hit me hard. a very nice story. i'm glad i don't have a crush on yamapi...  his character reminded me so much of myself. only with no one to get back to. and no regrets. but i do know how he felt on episode 11, when he gave his all and knew that that he had to move on. i'm glad that rei finally realized that she, too had to do something.  bottom line to this is that i want to watch more jdorama. like team batista no eiko, rookies, and upcoming jdoramas like rescue etc.
14. not only jdoramas but also tv series... yay! thanks to my dad i was able to watch bones and ncis. i want to watch new series... maybe follow up on my boys! - that's really nice and funny. maybe watch jag! and karl xy.. people did say it's cool. maybe veronica mars... well maybe..
15. scholarship to go to japan
16. just a few hours ago... i was so upset and in foul mood, because before praying with the entire family, my rosary broke :( but was able to fix it :)... anyway the point is i need to pray ... often :) and i'm glad that i was able to spend some time with my family praying :).. this is rare :)
17. i want to learn how to play the musical instrument i really really like. sigh.
18. start something new :) ...

- of all the Feb issues, greatful that i Got DUET feb 2009, tita beth gave it to me :) thanks so much... she remembered the magazines i want...  and the best part i didn't ask her for it :)... but ... the draw back was that it was hey say jump! hehehehe

After the much needed rest, here i am. on a lazy sunday morning. this reminds me of Calvin and Hobbes Lazy Sunday morning. I need to remind myself to stop buying too much jpop. I want to collect the entire Calvin and Hobbes Comics :) I also want to make an icon of Calvin and Hobbes... calvin being naughty hehehe

Now I have to time to blog, i forgot what i was suppose to blog about...

Well for starters, I watched Twilight movie during the first day of screening, last wednesday, with Aichan! we've been waiting for so long for this! yay! :)



and after that I got sick. vomitting then colds then ,cough.. etc... :( but the movie was worth it! hehehe... I know it wasn't the Edward Cullen that i imagined or expected, Robert Pattinson didn't do a bad job. :)


not that I like Edward Cullen hehehe. i enjoyed the movie. Ofcourse it was hard to miss the practically all the girls were sighing and gushing over Edward Cullen, spcially when he entered the scene... Aichan and I were laughing. Aichan complained that the guy beside her kept mumbling "stupid, stupid" I guess jealous of Edward.  But then again why would 3 guys watch the movie together!?!?! hahahaha.

Besides being REALLY busy with work and getting sick, I've also watched the Seasons 1-4 of Bones. Really like that series.  The series reminded me my tour of the Jeffersonian Museum. I carried a very heavy book about World War II when I was touring with my cousin, aunt and mother.  I love the museum, only i should have appreciated more.  I would like to go back there again :) uwahh :) another reason for watching bones is a certain Dr. Zack Addi.. hehehe :)



And i've also been watching Merlin the British TV series. I'm really thanking AiahP for this... hehehe  King Authur really looks cool! :)



Yeah! i've always been a King Arthur fan :)

Well for today, I just really plan to:

1. lazily lay around
2. watch jpop - some cartoon kat-tun i just downloaded.
3. update my blogSSS
4. download a bunch of jpop stuffs... (i can do that at work hehe)
5. upload a bunch of videos hehe
6. can't wait to watch the pv of arashi beautiful days.. yeah havn't watched that

this i will save for Christmas reading :) I believe the part of the setting is Christmas time.  Speaking of Christmas, I really do need to finish my work, get ready for the JLPT, save money, and SEND Christmas cards this time!!! also Make time for family and friends.
No wonder the Christmas season is the most stressful time of the year hehe.

a couple of weeks ago,
i had to say goodbye to my Voltron Black Lion,
I decided to give to my boss...
after all he did want it more...
and he did have all other 4 lions,
just missing the black one.
i can't help it when i look at my lone black lion
and feel so lonely for him, he needed to be with his team.



As the saying goes
if you love someone, you have to let him go...

Before i go downstairs and start working there... I just want to settle what i read next.

I just finished reading Garth Nix's Sabriel, the first of the Abhorsen or Old Kingdom Trilogy

 ... and I loved the book, fantasy, horror, adventure, family duty and romance!
It's really a nice book.  A lot of surprises and the development of the story is great, you'd think you could predict it.. but there's still surprises in store.  I also love the characters.  Great characters. Love the development of Touchstone's character and hoping for more of Mogget hehe :)

great read :)

p.s. i swear i could just imagine night of the living dead in some parts of the book... hehe


But now.. i have to decide on which books to read.
                     

since i'm done with Sabriel, twiligh book 1, also done with Call of the Wild book 1 of the Immortal by Tamora Pierce, I have several books waiting for me to be read.









among those books are:
1) Book 2 of the Abhorsen Trilogy: Lirael. Just bought it last night cuz i knew that i'd finish Sabriel last night too :)
2) I also bought the Dark is Rising by Susan cooper just last Sunday.  I wanted to read this before watching the movie...  But since the setting is around Christmas, I figured I should just read this around Christmas time...


3) then I also have a book 2 of the Immoral by Tamora Pierce... But not really in the mood for reading that.

4) I also have Umberto Eco's The Name of the Rose... but it's damn too long. I don't have the much background on Italy or Latin so it's really frustrating... and I don't have enough braincells to spare because of work...

6) Maybe I'll just go with Book 3 of the Chronicles of Narnia: The Horse and his boy.  i havn't finished reading book 2, lion, wtich and wardrobe cuz.. unfortunately it bores me.  But I did watch the movie hehe. I also did read book one. so i'll skip book 2. (my book doesn't look like the cover of this...)

I started reading this... hmmm I think some time weeks ago.  I did mention that i wanted to read this in my "crunch time" post Aug 20, 2008 at 10:35 PM. I've been searching for this book because it has a cool cover, but heard none of the rumors and reviews about it.

Well What can I say about it. It's easy to read.  I like the flow of the story.
And i can't seem to put my book down.  Well in this case, i can't put ryochan (laptop) down.  Because it was hard to find the book, a Good friend gave me a pdf file.

I liked the book so much, that i had to read other books just to die down my passion. hehe.  After so much stalling, I finally finished just now.  And no part of it was a dissapointment.

I really don't wanna gush over this, ... or blush over Eward. But damn.  Good thing not many of my friends are here to read this. But i just couldn't help it.
It's damn to good! there.

No words can explain.
